Day 1: Arrival in Porto and Ribeira evening

Morning / afternoon: Arrive in Porto and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time to settle in and explore the local area.

Evening: Begin the trip with a relaxed evening in Ribeira, Porto’s historic riverside district. Guests can walk along the Douro River, enjoy colourful buildings, take photos by the waterfront and optionally have dinner at a traditional Portuguese restaurant.

Day 2: Historic Porto, Livraria Lello and Clérigos Tower

Morning: Explore Porto’s historic centre, including São Bento Station, known for its beautiful tile artwork, and nearby streets filled with local shops and cafés.

Afternoon: Visit Livraria Lello, one of the world’s most famous bookshops, and continue to Clérigos Tower with the option to climb for panoramic views across the city.

Evening: Spend the evening around Aliados Avenue or the city centre, with optional dinner, local pastries or a relaxed café experience.

Day 3: Dom Luís I Bridge, Vila Nova de Gaia and wine cellars

Morning: Walk across Dom Luís I Bridge and enjoy views over Porto and the Douro River.

Afternoon: Explore Vila Nova de Gaia, known for its port wine cellars. Guests can join an optional wine cellar tour and tasting experience.

Evening: Enjoy dinner by the river in Gaia or return to Ribeira for sunset views and a relaxed evening by the waterfront.

Day 4: Bolhão Market, shopping and Foz do Douro

Morning: Visit Mercado do Bolhão, Porto’s traditional food market, where guests can experience local produce, cafés and Portuguese flavours.

Afternoon: Enjoy shopping around Rua de Santa Catarina, then continue to Foz do Douro for a more relaxed coastal experience with sea views and beachside walks.

Evening: Spend the final evening with optional dinner near the coast or back in the city centre.

Day 5: Final sightseeing and departure

Morning: Enjoy breakfast and final free time. Guests can visit the Crystal Palace Gardens, Porto Cathedral, local cafés or do some last-minute shopping depending on departure time.

Afternoon: Transfer to the airport or train station for departure.
